Zach Simms, 'Simba' as he is called by close friends, is based on the Delmarva Peninsula, where he grew up captivated by all things musical. While his prime instrument is the Guitar, he also performs and instructs on the Mandolin, Electric Bass, and Ukulele. While he spent his teen years focused on Rock and Jazz, he spent his college years at Salisbury University studying under Danielle Cumming, focusing on purist Classical Guitar, and majoring as an Audio Engineer.

   Between practicing and studying constantly, Simba spends his time a number of ways; Instructing Private Students and a handful of bands at AMP Studio, in Downtown Salisbury, MD; gigging out with his band The Queen's Bishop; running live sound for Mid South Audio, where he has run sound for national acts such as Merle Haggard, Marshall Tucker Band, Styx, Stone Temple Pilots, and more; and performing as a gun-for-hire for both the stage, and studio.
